Biografía:

Crown J (Korean: 크라운 제이, born November 12, 1979) is a South Korean hip hop singer and rapper who made his debut in March, 2006 with the handy help of his boy Crown Jicky who is yet still very young but helps him write his songs and lyrics. Having lived in the Los Angeles, US, Crown J brings US-style hip-hop to Korean listeners. He lived in Atlanta before moving to Los Angeles. However, his songs about love, friendship and family are filled with Korean sentiments. His English name is Kevin.

Crown J was born in South Korea yet he is no stranger to most countries around the world and he's certainly no stranger to the United States. Crown J first came to the United States at a very young age to attend American schools, which led him all the way to U.C.L.A. where he developed a passion for higher education and a passion for such sports as basketball and track. His educational journey concluded and he was required by South Korean law to return to his homeland and become a member of their Army.

Shortly after his military duty ended, Crown J became more involved in music and found that his true talent in life was quickly emerging. His musical interests flourished as he released his debut first song, VIP, and that earned Crown J his first album, and a TV series titled Just Married. Today, Crown J became has become a household name as a worldwide hip hop singer and rapper. Crown J brings US-style hip-hop to Korean listeners - and now United States. His songs about love, friendship and family are filled with Korean sentiments.

To understand the true essence of Crown J, you need to look no further than his thoughtful and passionate lyrics. Crown J's debut VIP is a song about how a person should work to become 'a very important person' on the inside rather than the outside. The lyrics were written by Crown J. It's no wonder that a number of top music figures, like MC Mong, Tablo, Ivy, and Dynamic Duo, participated in Crown J's debut album. And it's no wonder that Crown J was later paired with Jewelry's Seo In-Young when the couple released the digital single, Too Much. The song popularized the inverted upside down "peace" sign (A) and has become a mantra for Crown J around the world, and especially Atlanta.

While the stage in Korea boosted Crown J's global career and contains thousands of dedicated and loyal fans, Crown J sought to expand his musical career with newer challenges that he feels will enable him to grow as a musician, performer and entertainer. That's why Crown J has returned to the United States and has already teamed up and performed with industry legends in Atlanta. Crown J and Flyboy Ent has become an Independent Label that has propelled Crown J's musical dreams to entertain a wider audience and always support his loyal fans around the world.

Nitro Microphone Underground



Biografía:

Nitro Microphone Underground es un grupo de hip hop japonés. El grupo apareció en escena a finales de 1990 con los miembros Dabo, Macka-chin, Deli, Suiken, Gore-Tex, S-Word, XBS, y Bigzam. Aunque Gore-tex aparece en muchas canciones en el álbum Nitro Microphone, que se acredita con diferentes nombres, entre ellos el de alias "more-sex". El nombre de la banda se dice que fue sugerido por Macka-chin.

Han realizado colaboraciones con Shakkazombie y alrededor de la mitad del trabajo de DJ Muro. La mayoría de ellos han realizado un trabajo en solitario, especialmente Suiken y Dabo. Lanzaron su auto-editado primer álbum como una liberación indie en 1999, antes de la venta de 20.000 copias.

Ellos fueron fichados por Def Jam Japan y el disco fue re-editado en 2000 llegando al número 12 la lista japonesa. Nitro Microphone Underground su éxito es muy a menudo comparado con la de los Wu Tang Clan en los EE.UU.. También tomamos nota de que el grupo es legendario en Japón para que éste fue el primer grupo japonés de hip hop que apereció y recogió grandes elogios sin tener que pasar por el pop.
